 Coburn’s modern, climate controlled warehouse is Federal Government inspected and Canada Customs Bonded. We have burglar and fire alarms, our warehouse is monitored 24 hours a day and we have CCTV (close circuit TV).
All furnishings are wrapped and put in large wooden crates, with upholstered items placed on racks specifically designed for sofas, loveseats and overstuffed chairs. Whether your possessions will be in storage for a short term or for several years, they will be safe and well cared for at Coburn’s.
Moving long distance? Coburn’s offers storage facilities at all Atlas Van Line locations in Canada and the U.S. If you are moving long distance across Canada (from a major centre to a major centre) and require short term storage, Coburn’s can offer Atlas container service. Not only will container service save you money on storage, your shipment will stay in the container in which it was loaded, avoiding unloading into a warehouse and re-loading for delivery out.

How big are the wooden storage pallets?
The wooden storage pallets are 7’x7’x 5’.
How many wooden pallets will I need for my shipment?
Each pallet holds approx 1,000 lbs of furniture. If you have bulky items you may require more pallets. Sofas, loveseats and large area rugs are not put in the wooden storage pallets; they are put on special racks in the warehouse.
Can I get some things out of storage if I need them?
Yes. There will be an additional charge for the warehouseman’s time to pull out your storage pallets and to go through them to find the items you need. If you know you will need access to some storage items at a later date, advise the Packer and Driver at loading so they can clearly mark the items for the warehouseman. This will ensure the items you will require access to are put in one storage pallet for easier access. |
